White-Rodgers 790-843A1 Universal Flame Sensor

The White-Rodgers 790-843A1 universal flame sensor is designed to replace flame sensors used in a wide range of gas furnaces, boilers, water heaters and other gas-fired heating equipment.

The high-temperature flame rod can be bent, cut or both to match the original flame sensor configuration. White-Rodgers states that the 790-843A1 can replace more than 120 flame sensor part numbers.

The kit includes a 30-inch lead wire, protective bending sleeve, mounting screws and both 1/4" and 3/16" quick-connect options.

Common Symptoms of a Failed Flame Sensor

• Furnace lights but shuts down after a few seconds
