At OEMHVACPartsCanada.ca, we're different from most online HVAC parts suppliers because we're HVAC technicians first. We aren't former technicians—we're actively working in the heating and air conditioning industry every day. When we're not helping customers find the right parts, we're out in the field diagnosing and repairing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, fireplaces, and other HVAC equipment.

With decades of hands-on experience, we understand the challenges of diagnosing HVAC problems. That's why we offer something most online parts stores don't: real technical advice from working HVAC technicians. Unlike many online parts retailers, our advice comes from technicians who diagnose and repair HVAC systems every day—not from a sales script or product catalog.

What Is Technical Advice?

Our Technical Advice service is designed specifically for homeowners. Think of it as professional HVAC technical support with a practical, real-world approach.

Our goal isn't simply to sell you a part. We want to help you determine whether the component you suspect is faulty is actually the cause of the problem. Replacing the wrong part can be expensive and frustrating, and many HVAC issues require proper diagnosis before a replacement part is ordered.

Even experienced HVAC technicians occasionally need a second opinion or someone to discuss a difficult diagnosis with. A fresh perspective can save time, money, and unnecessary repairs.

Our Technical Advice Can Help If You're Looking To:

  • Confirm whether a specific HVAC part is likely faulty.
  • Verify a part number or replacement with HVAC suppliers or manufacturers.
  • Understand the common symptoms of a failed HVAC component.
  • Determine whether the replacement part you've selected is the correct one for your equipment.
  • Identify compatible OEM or aftermarket replacement options.
  • Avoid spending money on parts that may not solve the problem.
  • Get a second opinion on a repair or replacement quote from an independent HVAC contractor.
  • Better understand what may be causing your heating or cooling system to malfunction before purchasing parts.

What We Don't Do

Our Technical Advice service is not a substitute for an on-site HVAC diagnosis. Unless you are located in the Ottawa area, we cannot inspect your equipment in person or guarantee a diagnosis. We also will never recommend bypassing safety controls or performing repairs that could create a safety hazard.

Instead, we provide professional guidance based on the information you provide, including photos, videos, model and serial numbers, error codes, electrical readings, pressure readings, and other test results.

Our goal is simple: to help you make a more informed decision before purchasing HVAC parts, avoid unnecessary expenses, and know when it's time to call in a qualified HVAC professional.
