Carrier HK32EA001 Defrost Control Board

The Carrier HK32EA001 defrost control board is a Factory Authorized Parts™ replacement control used in select Carrier, Bryant and Payne heat pumps.

The HK32EA001 controls the heat pump defrost sequence during heating operation. When defrost is required, the board controls the reversing valve and outdoor fan to allow heat to remove frost and ice from the outdoor coil.

The board provides selectable 30, 60 and 90-minute defrost intervals and works with the outdoor coil defrost thermostat to determine when the defrost cycle should begin and end.
