Last winter when the furnace starts - blower motor sounded as plane taking off.
It is an 8 year old mid efficiency Goodman furnace - too early for replacement IMO. Decided to replace motor during summer time - if it does not work still have time to call specialist :-). Di-assembled motor and ordered new part from OEMHVACPARTS Canada - seem only site to service Canada. They contacted me for furnace model # to make sure I receive the correct part.
Part arrived week later. Wiring matched the old motor - easy assembly. After I put it back - all tested fine and quiet. Giving it 5 * but real rate will be after this winter.
Brilliant idea to have business like this in Canada.
